# The Treasury Bills Regulations 1968, Regulation 5: Issue of amount of discount out of the National Loans Fund


In respect of any Treasury bills issued, the Treasury shall from time to time issue to the Bank of England out of the National Loans Fund a sum equal to the amount of discount on the bills, and such sum shall be paid by the Bank of England into the National Loans Fund, together with the sums actually received in respect of the bills.
