(1)

The principal sum payable in respect of a Treasury bill shall be paid at the head office of the Bank of England.

(2)

Where the Bank of England require a discharge to be given upon the payment of a Treasury bill, it shall be given by means of an acknowledgement of receipt given on the back of the bill or on a schedule showing the number and amount of the bill.
