# The Tribunal Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2011, Rule 7: Transitional provisions applicable to appeals to the First-tier Tribunal War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber


(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the amendments made by rule 6 apply to a notice of appeal where written notice of the decision being challenged was sent to the appellant before 9th May 2011.
(2) The amendments made by rule 6 do not apply to any appeal where written notice of the decision being challenged was sent to the appellant—
(a) on or before 9 February 2011 in proceedings under section 5(1) of the Pensions Appeal Tribunals Act 1943; or
(b) on or before 9 November 2010 in any other case.
