  "text": "(1) All expenses incurred by the Minister with the approval of the Treasury under this Act in the construction, maintenance, repair or improvement of roads, and such of the expenses so incurred in other dealing with roads as may be determined by the Minister with the consent of the Treasury, shall be defrayed out of the Road Fund ; and all other expenses of the Minister under this Act shall, to such amount as may be approved by the Treasury, be defrayed out of moneys provided by Parliament.\n(2) For the purposes of the last foregoing subsection any expenses incurred by the Minister in the acquisition of land under subsection (1) of section five of this Act, or in managing, improving, or otherwise dealing with such land, shall be deemed to be incurred in dealing with roads.\n(3) Any sums received by the Minister under section seven of this Act shall be paid into the Exchequer.",
