# The Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1973, Note: Explanatory note


This Order adds to the list of authorities in paragraph 9 of Part II of Schedule 1 to the Trustee Investments Act 1961 any district council in Northern Ireland. The addition is consequential on the reorganisation of local government in Northern Ireland by the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972.
