Article 3 Commencement

Subject to article 4 below, section 167 of the Act shall come into force on the following dates:–

(a)

15th July 1996 but only for the purpose of bringing into force the provisions relating to the making of regulations in sections 10(8), (9) and (10) and 12A (8), (9) and (10) of Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985^f1; and

(b)

19th August 1996, for all other purposes.
