Paragraph 5

In section 114 (quality partnership schemes), for subsection (1) substitute—

“(1)

A local transport authority, or two or more such authorities acting jointly, may make a quality partnership scheme if they are satisfied that the scheme will to any extent implement—

(a)

the policies set out in their bus strategy; or

(b)

in the case of an excepted authority with no local transport plan, the policies which they have formulated in accordance with section 110(6).”.
