Section 144 of and Schedule 10 to the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (parental compensation orders)f1 shall come into force on 20th July 2006 in the areas specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Schedule 10 inserts section 13A (parental compensation orders ), section 13B (parental compensation orders: the compensation), section 13C (parental compensation orders: supplemental), section 13D (parental compensation orders: appeal) and section 13E (effect of parental compensation order on subsequent award of damages in civil proceedings) into the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (c. 37).
