The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 358(1) and (2) of the Gambling Act 2005f1.

This Order may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2007.

Sections 214 to 234 of the Gambling Act 2005 shall come into force on 1st December 2007.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force sections 214 to 234 of the Gambling Act 2005 on 1st December 2007. Those sections provide for the giving of temporary use notices to authorise premises to be used for providing facilities for gambling during the period specified in the notice.
