# The Uncertificated Securities Regulations 1995, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 18th December 1995
Coming into force 19th December 1995
The Treasury in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Transfer of Functions (Financial Services) Order 1992 and by section 207 of the Companies Act 1989 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations of which a draft has been laid before Parliament in accordance with section 207(9) of the Companies Act 1989 and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
