# The Urban Development Corporations in England (Dissolution) Order 1998, Article 2: Dissolution of the corporations


The following urban development corporations shall be dissolved on 1st July 1998—
(a) the Birmingham Heartlands Development Corporation;
(b) the Black Country Development Corporation;
(c) the London Docklands Development Corporation;
(d) the Merseyside Development Corporation;
(e) the Plymouth Development Corporation;
(f) the Teesside Development Corporation;
(g) the Trafford Park Development Corporation; and
(h) the Tyne and Wear Development Corporation.
