# The Utilities Act 2000 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2000, Article 7: Transitional provisions


In section 32 of the Gas Act (which section 22(1) substitutes for the original section 32 of that Act)—
(a) until the appointed day for the coming into force of section 95 for any purpose which includes the exercise by the Authority of its powers under section 30A(1) of the Gas Act (which section 95 inserts into that Act), there is omitted from the definition of “enforcement function” in subsection (10) “or 30A”; and
(b) until the appointed day for the coming into force of section 3(1) for “Authority” in each place where it appears there is substituted “Director”.
