  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations are made in exercise of powers conferred by Article 4(1) of Regulation (EC) 2160/2003 on the control of salmonella and other specified food-borne zoonotic agents. They extend to England and Wales, and Scotland.\nThese Regulations amend the regulations concerning salmonella in poultry and poultry products to include a reference to a standard adopted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for validating alternative typing methods for salmonella.\nA full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.",
