# The Valley Invicta Park Federation (School Governance) Order 2007, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order is made under section 2 of the Education Act 2002. Article 2 provides that certain provisions of the School Governance (Federations) (England) Regulations 2004 shall be relaxed in relation to the governing body of the Valley Invicta Park Federation, a federation which comprises the Invicta Grammar School and the Valley Park Community School. The relaxation of the regulations allows for the appointment of a maximum of 23 governors and also allows the deputy heads of each of the schools within the federation to be appointed as ex-officio staff governors. Article 3 specifies that the Order shall have effect until 23rd February 2010.
