# The Value Added Tax (Cars) (Amendment) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the House of Commons 10th June 2002
Coming into force 1st July 2002
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 50A(1), (5) and (8) of the Value Added Tax Act 1994 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
