# The Vehicles (Crime) Act 2001 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2001, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st October 2001 section 37 of the Vehicles (Crime) Act 2001 which extends the time-limits in which the prosecution can commence proceedings for an offence of taking a conveyance without authority.
