Article 39 Repeals

Subject to paragraph (2) below, the Ventnor Local Board Act 1884^f1 and the Ventnor Pier Order 1910^f2, so far as they are not already repealed, are hereby repealed.

Notwithstanding paragraph (1) above, if any part of the works authorised by the said Act and the said Order is still in existence when this Order comes into force, the provisions of that Act and of that Order shall remain in force in relation to that part so far as may be necessary to secure its removal and to prevent any danger to navigation.
