# The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2005, Paragraph 16: Marketing in exceptional circumstances


Where the health situation so requires, the Secretary of State may authorise the placing on the market of a veterinary medicinal product that has been authorised by another member State or, if there is no such authorised product, authorised in a third country.
