# The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2005, Paragraph 26: Provisional marketing authorisation


(1) In exceptional circumstances, the Secretary of State may grant a provisional marketing authorisation subject to a requirement for the applicant to provide further data.
(2) The Secretary of State shall reassess the authorisation annually.
