# The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2006, Regulation 44: Revocations and amendments

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2005 are revoked.
(2) Schedule 8 (amendments to the Medicines Acts etc.) has effect.
(3) Schedule 9 (consequential amendments) has effect.
(4) The Medicines (Prohibition of Importation and Possession of Veterinary Drugs) Order (Northern Ireland) 1977 continues in force notwithstanding paragraph (2), and the Medicines Act 1968 continues to apply as if it had not been amended by these Regulations in so far as is necessary for the operation of that Order.
