# The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2007, Paragraph 2: Time limits


(1) The Secretary of State must process an application for a manufacturing authorisation within 90 days of receiving it.
(2) He must process an application for a variation of a manufacturing authorisation within 30 days unless he notifies the applicant in writing that he is extending the time to 90 days.
