# The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) (Amendment) Order 1982, Article 2: Amendment


The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 1962 shall be amended as follows:—
(a) in Article 4(d) for the words “a suitable instrument;” there shall be substituted the words “a suitable instrument, unless the poult has reached the age of 21 days;”; and
(b) in Article 4(e) for the words “a suitable instrument; and” there shall be substituted the words “a suitable instrument, unless, in the case of the removal of a comb, the fowl has reached the age of 72 hours.”.
