  "text": "(1) Section 42A (supplemental provision for case where no restriction direction given) is amended as follows.\n(2) In subsection (2), in the words before paragraph (a)—\n(a) for “Subsection (3) applies” substitute “Subsections (3) and (3A) apply”;\n(b) for “local probation board or provider of probation services mentioned in section 42(2)” substitute “provider of probation services”.\n(3) For subsection (3) substitute—\n“(3) The provider of probation services must notify the managers of the hospital in which the patient is detained of that person’s wish and of that person’s name and address.\n(3A) The provider of probation services may notify that person of the name and address of the hospital in which the patient is detained.”\n(4) In subsection (4)—\n(a) for “Subsection (5) applies” substitute “Subsections (5) and (5A) apply”;\n(b) for “local probation board or provider of probation services mentioned in section 42(2)” substitute “provider of probation services”.\n(5) In subsection (5)—\n(a) in the words before paragraph (a), for “local probation board or provider of probation services mentioned in section 42(2)” substitute “provider of probation services”;\n(b) in paragraph (b)—\n(i) in the words before sub-paragraph (i) omit “the board or”;\n(ii) omit the “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (i);\n(iii) omit sub-paragraph (ii).\n(6) After subsection (5) insert—\n“(5A) The provider of probation services may notify that person of the name and address of the relevant hospital.”",
