# Victims and Courts Act 2026, Paragraph 31: Consequential provision etc

After section 45 insert—
“Power to amend list of offences in Schedule 6A
45A The Secretary of State may by regulations amend the list of offences for the time being specified in Schedule 6A.
Power to specify duration of term of imprisonment etc
45B The Secretary of State may by regulations amend this Part for the purposes of changing the meaning of “the specified sentence length” either generally or in relation to particular offences.”
