Explanatory note

This Order extends to Anguilla, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat and the Virgin Islands the provisions of the Visiting Forces Act 1952, subject to the adaptations, modifications and exceptions set out in the Second Schedule to the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Order 1954 (S.I. 1954/636) as modified by the present Order. The Order removes the obsolete reference to the Administrator of the Turks and Caicos Islands from the Second Schedule to the 1954 Order.
