# The Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Order 1954, Article 1


The Visiting Forces (Designation) Order, 1954, shall extend to each of the territories mentioned in the Schedule to this Order:
Provided that for the purposes of its extension to any of those territories the Visiting Forces (Designation) Order, 1954, shall have effect as if—
(a) in section 1 thereof for the words “Each of the countries specified in the Schedule to this Order” there were substituted the words “The United States of America” ;
(b) the Schedule thereto was omitted; and
(c) the reference in section 1 thereof to the Visiting Forces Act, 1952, was a reference to that Act as it extends to that territory by virtue of the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Order, 1954.
