  "text": "DEFENCE\nMade 19th May 1998\nComing into force in relation to each country specified in Article 2, the date determined in accordance with Article 1(2)\nAt the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 19th day of May 1998\nPresent,\nThe Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council\nWhereas it appears to Her Majesty that, having regard to the arrangements for defence co-operation to which Her Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom and the Governments of the countries specified in Article 2 of this Order are parties, it is expedient that the provisions of the Visiting Forces Act 1952 (“the 1952 Act”) following section 1 should have effect in relation to each of those countries:\nNow, therefore, Her Majesty, by virtue of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(2) and 15(2) of the 1952 Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—",
