  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThe United Kingdom and Senegal have concluded a Defence Cooperation Treaty, which was signed on 4 December 2023.\nThe development of the defence relationships with Senegal means that the arrangements now require reciprocal concurrent jurisdictional provision. In order to effect those provisions, it is necessary to designate Senegal as a countries to which the Visiting Forces Act 1952 applies.",
