# The Visiting Forces (Stamp Duties) (Designation) Order 1964, Note: Explanatory note


Section 74 of the Finance Act 1960 confers exemptions from stamp duty in relation to any visiting force of a designated country corresponding to exemptions applicable in the case of H.M. Forces. This Order designated the Federal Republic of Germany.
