# Wages Councils Act 1979, Paragraph 5


(1) A council may delegate any of its functions, other than the power to make orders under section 14 of this Act, to a committee consisting of such number of members of the council as the council thinks fit.
(2) The number of members representing employers and the number of members representing workers on a committee of a council shall be equal.
