# The Wakefield (Derelict Land Clearance Area) Order 1987, Article 2


In this Order, “the map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Wakefield (Derelict Land Clearance Area) Order 1987” and signed by an Under Secretary in the Department of the Environment, which has been prepared in duplicate and of which one duplicate has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the principal offices of the City of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council and the other has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the offices of the Secretary of State for the Environment.
3. Section 1(1) to (6) of the Derelict Land Act 1982 shall have effect in relation to land in the locality shown bounded by the outside edge of a bold black line on the map as they have effect in relation to land in a development area or intermediate area.
