# The War Pensions Committees (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 8th July 1996
Laid before Parliament 15th July 1996
Coming into force in accordance with Regulation 1
The Secretary of State for Social Security in exercise of powers conferred by sections 25(1) and 29(1) of the Social Security Act 1989 and section 175(3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
