Made 12th March 1997

Coming into force 7th April 1997

The Secretary of State for Social Security, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of powers conferred by section 7(3) of the Pensions (Navy, Army, Air Force and Mercantile Marine) Act 1939f1 and now vested in himf2 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Scheme:
