# The War Pensions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 1989, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 20th March 1989
Coming into force 1st April 1989
The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(3) of the Pensions (Navy, Army, Air Force and Mercantile Marine) Act 1939, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
