# The War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) (Amendment) Scheme 1972, Note: Explanatory note


This Scheme amends the War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) Scheme 1964 so as to remove a restriction under which no award could be made in respect of the death of a naval auxiliary, occurring more than 7 years after the date of the relevant qualifying injury or end of detention, unless he had been in receipt of a pension in respect of disablement.
