# The Waste (Circular Economy) (Amendment) Regulations 2020, Regulation 4: Environment Act 1995


In the Environment Act 1995, in section 56(1), in paragraph (h) of the definition of “environmental licence” as it extends to England and Wales, for “Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1997”, substitute “Directive (EU) 2018/851”.
