Paragraph 41

(1)

The temporary storage of waste, pending its collection, on the site where it is produced.

(2)

Sub-paragraph (1) above shall apply to special waste if—

(a)

it is stored on the site for no more than twelve months;

(b)

in the case of liquid waste, it is stored in a secure container and the total volume of that waste does not at any time exceed 23,000 litres; and

(c)

in any other case, either—

(i)

it is stored in a secure container and the total volume of that waste does not at any time exceed 80 cubic metres; or

(ii)

it is stored in a secure place and the total volume of that waste does not at any time exceed 50 cubic metres.
