# Water Act 1989, Paragraph 53


The repeals made by this Act shall not affect the operation of the following enactments (each of which applies provisions of Schedule 3 to the 1945 Act), namely—
(a) sections 12(7) and 14(5) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974; and
(b) sections 11(5) and 12(2) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.
