# The Water Environment (Shellfish Water Protected Areas: Designation) (Scotland) Order 2016, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Water Environment (Shellfish Water Protected Areas: Designation) (Scotland) Order 2016 and comes into force on 4th October 2016.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003.
