# The Weights and Measures (Amendment) Regulations 1972, Regulation 1


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Amendment) Regulations 1972 and shall come into operation on 26th June 1972.
(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
(3) The Weights and Measures (Amendment) Regulations 1969 are hereby revoked.
