  "text": "These Regulations further amend the Weights and Measures Regulations 1963 by excluding from the application of those Regulations—\n(a) weighing equipment used for making up packages so long as they are subsequently checked in accordance with section 1(6)(b) of the Weights and Measures Act 1979;\n(b) certain weighing equipment used for checking packages in accordance with section 1(6)(b) or (7)(a) of that Act;\n(c) certain liquid capacity measures used for making up or checking packages in accordance with section 1(6) or (7)(a) of that Act.\nSuch equipment will, therefore, not be prescribed for the purposes of section 11(1) of the Weights and Measures Act 1963.",
