Regulation 8 Amendments of the Measuring Instruments Regulations 2016

The Measuring Instruments Regulations 2016^f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 31(1) (action to be taken by distributors where regulated measuring instruments placed on the market by them are not in conformity with essential requirements), for “placed” substitute “made available”.

In regulation 71(2), (offence of failure to comply with an enforcement notice), for “compliance notice”, substitute “enforcement notice”.

In regulation 73(1)(c) (re-qualification), for “regulation 72(3)(a) to (iv) or (3)”, substitute “regulation 72(3) or 72(4)”.
