# The Weights and Measures (Food) (Amendment) Regulations 2014, Regulation 11: Amendments to the Weights and Measures Act 1985


In section 94(1) (general interpretation of the Act) before the definition of “gross weight” insert—
““the FIC Regulation” means Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the provision of food information to consumers;”.
