# The Weights and Measures (Guernsey and Alderney) Order 1995, Article 1


(1) This Order may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Guernsey and Alderney) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st June 1995.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” means the Weights and Measures Act 1985; and
“Guernsey” means the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.
