Regulation 2

The Weights and Measures (Prescribed Stamp) Regulations 1968^f1 shall be amended as follows–

(a)

in regulation 1–

(i)

by substituting “by any person authorised by or under section 11 of the Weights and Measures Act 1985^f2” for the word “inspectors”; and

(ii)

in paragraph (a), by substituting “,” for “or” in the first place where it occurs and by inserting between “enamelled metal,” and “either” the words “or plastic,”; and

(b)

in paragraph (ii) of Schedule 1 and paragraph (iii) of Schedule 2, by substituting “person authorised by or under section 11 of the Weights and Measures Act 1985” for “inspector”.
