  "text": "(1) In the case of beam scales, the stamp shall be placed on the plug or stud provided for that purpose.\n(2) In the case of balances, the stamp shall be placed either—\n(a) on the plug or stud on the base of the pillar; or\n(b) upon a special plate permanently and irremovable attached to the base of the instrument.",
