# The Welfare Food Amendment Regulations 1994, Regulation 2: Amendment of regulation 2 of the principal Regulations


In regulation 2(1) of the principal Regulations (interpretation)—
(a) for the definition of “local authority” there shall be substituted the following definition—
““local authority” has the same meaning as in section 105(1) of the Children Act 1989;”; and
(b) the definition of “local social services authority” shall be omitted.
