# The Welfare Food (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st April 2001
The Secretary of State for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 13(3) and (4) of the Social Security Act 1988 and section 175(2) to (5) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
