  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations bring into force provisions in the Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016 (c. 7) relating to loans for mortgage interest.\nRegulation 2 brings section 20(2) to (7) and (10) (which contains consequential amendments to primary legislation) into force on 27th July 2017.\nThose consequential amendments:\na) bring regulations about loans for mortgage interest within the remit of the Social Security Advisory Committee (section 20(2));\nb) apply various procedural provisions that apply to social security benefits to decisions about loans for mortgage interest (section 20(3) to (7));\nc) apply provisions on information sharing between the Secretary of State and local authorities and other persons to loans for mortgage interest (section 20(10)).",
