# The Welsh Language Schemes (Public Bodies) Order 2012, Introduction: Introductory text


WELSH LANGUAGE
Made 13 December 2012
Laid before the National Assembly for Wales 14 December 2012
Coming into force 4 January 2013
Whereas it appears to the Welsh Ministers that the person referred to in this Order is a person exercising functions of a public nature;
Now, therefore, the Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6(1)(o) of the Welsh Language Act 1993 and now vested in them hereby make the following Order:
